Ryan Hampton (He/Him), AMFT
Ryan is a Marriage and Family Therapist who is honored to serve as an advocate, guide, and fellow traveler on the path to greater mental health and wellness. Since 2013, Ryan has supported individuals working through addiction, trauma, homelessness, family conflict, domestic violence, personality disorders, and a wide variety of mental health challenges. Ryan enjoys working with people of every demographic and identity expression, and is especially passionate about working with teens and young adults, African American and multiracial individuals and families, as well as the neurodivergent community.
Ryan’s approach to therapy is centered around collaboration, curiosity, humility, humor, and hope. He assists clients in creating the life story they want to live, by building self-understanding, practicing self-acceptance, and developing their unique personal strengths. To do this, Ryan embraces an eclectic, individualized approach for each client, incorporating DBT, ACT, mindfulness, family systems, and attachment theory. For clients seeking healing from traumatic experiences, Ryan is also trained to provide EMDR Therapy.
